A hint of school-girl

Cannot sing the praises of Pop Boutique enough. AWESOME store. Please, anyone with a stroke of interest in fashion must go there - it's an absolute gold-mine of quirky, vintage pieces. At the Manchester store, I was lucky enough to stumble across a dogtooth pinafore (yippee).
(It was a bit of a blustery day for photo-taking, so there are more than a few stray hairs flying about...)

I really enjoyed wearing this outfit, actually. I love a good crisp-white shirt, me, plus I felt a bit cheeky in a pinafore - took me back to my Infant School days (oh, those were the times).

Anyways, must dash, I've got a recorded episode of The White Queen beckoning me...

Thirty degrees in long sleeves?

I'VE MOVED! To follow my latest posts, please find me at www.velvetsunday.wordpress.com

Sorry folks - it has yet again been a while since my last post! I've just spent a fabulous week studying at Oxford University, living the life of a German undergrad (thanks to the wonderful UNIQ, who organised the summer school). The academic programme and city alike were just wonderful - I managed to get some really lovely photos (see below!).

I'm loving the weather in England at the moment - currently enjoying temperatures of around thirty degrees (Celsius, that is). Hot, but nice. You won't find me complaining. Although I will admit to being a little too hot in this dress, but as evening-wear it's perfect. And I can finally whip out the straw hat (hurrah)!

And here are some of the Oxford pictures (I'm to the far right, in the white docs)!

I'm off again at the weekend to stay in an eco-lodge in the Yorkshire Dales (I've heard it's beautiful). I'm planning on being the full tree-hugging type for the week by avoiding technology, so I will try to post before I go away, but if not, I'll not be away for that long.

Over and out,
Daniella
